Kmart Store Inventory Managers are crucial to our company's success. They lead team members to deliver a high standard of customer experiences through effective store merchandising, replenishment and customer service. They ensure a safe and compliant store through execution of store processes and leadership of team members. Store Inventory Managers are process leaders and executors in our stores, they navigate complex environments and implement business initiatives, ensuring the store operates smoothly and delivers strong outcomes.
What you'll be doing
Leadership & Motivation –
Actively engages the team to ensure diverse viewpoints are considered, prioritised team goals over personal agendas while promoting collaboration and a strong sense of shared purpose. Involve team members in decision‐making to build trust and achieve store objectives together.
Strategic Thinking –
Seeks out new ways to optimise store operations and improve inventory processes,



testing current approaches, analysing results, and refining methods to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Relationship Building –
Keeps everyone informed to avoid surprises, fostering collaboration and unified approach while actively seeking input, valuing diverse perspectives and recognising individual contributions.
Operational Excellence –
Quickly identifies and addresses process issues using metrics and benchmarks to uncover gaps, continuously refining workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes while eliminating waste and streamlining operations.

Demonstrates accountability by owning outcomes and ensuring goals and standards are consistently achieved.
