Domestic Roofer | Residential Roofing | Adelaide
n
Roofers of Adelaide is growing, and IM Partners is looking for an experienced Domestic/Residential Roofer who knows residential roofing and can genuinely contribute on site from day one.
n
We are not looking for someone who needs to be taught the basics.
n
We are looking for a roofer who knows their way around a residential roof, works hard, produces quality work and wants to join a business where there is plenty happening and plenty of opportunity ahead.

The Role
n
You will work across residential roofing projects throughout Adelaide, including new builds, single and medium density housing, reroofs, replacements, repairs and associated roofing works.
n
This is a hands‐on position. You will be on the tools, working as part of the roofing team and expected to take ownership of the quality of your work.
n
Depending on your experience, you may also have the opportunity to take greater responsibility on site as the team continues to grow.

What You Will Be Doing
n
n
Installing roofing systems on new residential projects
n
Completing reroofing and roof replacement works
n
Carrying out roofing repairs and associated works
n
Measuring, cutting, fitting and installing roofing materials
n
Identifying site or installation issues before they become bigger problems
n
Working safely at heights and following site safety requirements
n
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site presentation
n
Working productively with the rest of the roofing team
n

Who We Want
n
You will already have practical residential roofing experience and be comfortable working independently within your level of competency.
n
You should be someone who:
n
n
Has proven domestic or residential roofing experience
n
Understands roofing installation methods, materials and sequencing
n
Takes pride in producing clean, quality work
n
Turns up, gets involved and can be relied upon
n
Works well within a crew
n
Communicates when something is wrong rather than simply working around it
n
Understands the importance of safety when working at heights
n
Wants to be part of a business for the longer term
n
n
A White Card and working at heights ticket is required, and a current drivers licence makes getting to work a lot easier than catching a bus!

Onshore Sponsorship Candidates

We are open to hearing from experienced roofers who are already in Australia and may require employer sponsorship.
n
Sponsorship is not automatic and will depend on your actual roofing experience, qualifications, work history, current visa circumstances and whether an appropriate sponsorship pathway is available.
