About the Kitchen Steward Supervisor Opportunity
n
Joondalup Resort is seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward Supervisor to join the Stewarding team. This is a full-time position (payment is based on Hospitality Award wages).
n
Responsibilities include:
n
n
Ensure kitchens and back of house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
n
Care for kitchen and service equipment
n
Track and minimize breakages, loss of equipment and crockery.
n
Review, establish and manage kitchen cleaning schedules.
n
Lead a team of kitchen stewards in various sections of the kitchen.
n
Manage team rosters.
n
n
Position Specifications:
n
n




Extensive stewarding experience including experience in a similar hotel environment
n
Working Knowledge and leadership of HACCP
n
Hospitality Hygiene Officer Certificate
n
Have availability to work a flexible roster including early mornings/ late nights/ weekends and public holidays
n
Robust Organisational and Time Management Skills
n
Meticulous Attention to Detail
n
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
n
Chemical Handling Knowledge
n
