Engineering Trades Australia are currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters with extensive pipe fitting experience for a busy workshop based in Brisbane. This is a outstanding opportunity for trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters looking for consistent Monday-Friday work, with occasional Saturday shifts available.

THE ROLE
n
Working within a professional workshop environment, you will be responsible for mechanical fitting, assembly, maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of industrial equipment and components.

n
Mechanical fitting, assembly and disassembly of equipment
n
Pipe fitting experience needed.
n
Hydraulic and mechanical component repairs
n
Maintenance and refurbishment of industrial equipment
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
n
Fault finding, repairs and troubleshooting
n
Workshop fitting, fabrication and general maintenance
n
Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
n
Working safely and maintaining high-quality workmanship
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
n
Previous workshop mechanical fitting experience
n
Strong mechanical maintenance and repair skills
n
Hydraulic experience highly regarded
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Mining, oil & gas, manufacturing or heavy industrial experience advantageous
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
