Finance Team
This role is designed for a Senior Financial & Management Accountant who excels in a collaborative, high‐performance environment and is motivated by improving processes, supporting colleagues, and driving operational excellence. With hands‐on responsibility and a clear pathway toward a Finance Manager position within 3–5 years, the role offers meaningful career progression. As a key contributor within a finance team supporting multiple underwriting agencies, you will deliver accurate, high‐quality reporting, enhance financial processes, and strengthen overall financial operations. Key Responsibilities
Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reports for review by the Financial Controller and CFO
Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to support decision‐making
Maintain audit readiness, ensure compliance, and complete balance sheet reconciliations
Support the onboarding of new acquisitions and agency start‐ups
Mentor and support junior finance team members while providing cross‐skilling across the team
Build strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively with cross‐functional teams
Improve and refine processes to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency
Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and support the FC, CFO and Executive Directors as required
Successful Candidate Will Have




Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion
Minimum 5 years' experience within a corporate finance setting
Insurance industry experience is highly regarded but not essential
Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel proficiency
Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to adapt style to different audiences
Strong organisational and time‐management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
A collaborative, team‐focused approach with the ability to mentor others
A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge existing processes
High level of integrity, professionalism and commitment to quality
