We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant to support the maintenance at South Walker Creek Mine. This role is ideal for someone with prior mining or heavy industry experience who is safety-focused.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Assisting tradespeople with mechanical and maintenance tasks
n
Tool handling, parts fetching, and equipment preparation
n
General labouring, housekeeping, and workshop support
n
Supporting breakdowns, planned maintenance, and shutdown activities
n
Adhering to all site safety procedures and WHS standards
n
n
Role Requirements:
n
n
Current S11
n
Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
Working at Heights, Confined spaces, Elevated Work Platform
n
Forklift and Franna Ticket
n
n
About You:
n
n
Previous Trades Assistant experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry
n




Proven commitment to safety and safe work practices
n
7/7 dayshift only roster
n
Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical required
n
n
