About the role
n
n
Providing in-home care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation
n
Developing and implementing individual support plans to meet each client's goals
n
Actively engaging clients in social and recreational activities to promote their wellbeing and independence
n
n
What we're looking for

Experience in aged care, disability or community services an advantage - students are welcome to apply
n




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
n
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges
n
A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities
n

Requirements
n
n
Must be available for flexible schedule to accommodate varying shift requirements
n
Must have Australian Driver's License & Reliable Car
n
Must have Current NDIS Worker check or willing to obtain
n
Must have a Paid Blue card or willing to obtain
n
Must hold current First Aid/CPR certification
n
Be able to provide 2 current/previous work-related references
n
n
Appointment to this position is conditional upon the successful applicant holding a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, having the legal right to work in Australia, and complying with any applicable legislative, regulatory or public health requirements relevant to the role.
