The Operational Reliability Leader is accountable for network reliability that protects public health and safety and meets our regulatory obligations. This role exists to protect the long-term performance of our 9,500km water network and *****km wastewater network. Success in this role will be improving trends in asset availability, water quality, non-revenue water sewer containment, backed by strong contingency planning and a team that resolves systemic issues before they recur.
What You'll Deliver
Identify operational risk and lead contingency, supply disruption and emergency response planning
Resolve systemic performance issues affecting long-term network health
Monitor compliance with network performance standards and drinking water quality requirements
Manage trade-offs across operational, capital, commercial and customer outcomes
Build your team's capability through coaching and structured development
About You
A relevant engineering degree
Experience or qualifications in hydraulics, production planning or water chemistry (highly regarded, not essential)
A track record of leading teams and translating technical risk into commercial terms stakeholders can act on
Strong stakeholder management and written communication skills
The ability to manage shifting priorities in a complex operational environment
This role carries on-call responsibilities to support our emergency management framework.
