MacKillop Family Services is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team.
This role plays an important part in supporting the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll services across the organisation.Working within the Payroll team, you will provide high quality administrative support, review payroll documentation, respond to enquiries, maintain employee records, and assist with payroll processing activities.

and to heal.First Nations career pathways – Warrungarli Strategy supporting recruitment, retention and skilled developmentCommunity & connection – Opportunity to join Ngindaay Guumaldanha, our Aboriginal Staff Network In this role, you'll:Review payroll related documentation, including leave forms, medical certificates, and statutory declarations, to ensure accuracy and complianceAccurately enter, maintain, and update employee payroll informationAssist with payroll processing activities in line with payroll schedules and deadlinesRespond to payroll enquiries from employees and managers in a timely and professional mannerMaintain accurate employee records and payroll documentationAssist in identifying and resolving payroll discrepanciesMaintain payroll files, records, and supporting documentationAssist with payroll correspondence and document preparationSupport audit activities and payroll related information requests This is a full-time, fixed term (ending November ****) position, based within our Payroll Team, reporting to the Payroll Manager.Key Selection Criteria:To be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated administration experience, preferably within a Payroll, Human Resources,
or Finance environmentExceptional attention to detail and a robust commitment to accuracyProven ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectivelyStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service and stakeholder management capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriatelyIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelThe ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environmentPlease address the full Key Selection Criteria outlined in the Position Description as part of your application.We value the unique knowledge, perspectives, and cultural contributions of First Nations peoples.
