Are you an experienced BIM leader ready to take ownership of ISO *****-compliant delivery on Australia's most complex data centre projects? Then this role is for you.
As BIM Manager Australia, reporting to the Regional BIM Manager APAC, you will lead BIM delivery across assigned projects, acting as the Lead Appointed Party in accordance with ISO *****. You will provide project-level leadership, governance and quality assurance, working closely with design disciplines, project managers and external stakeholders as the primary BIM interface with the client. You'll work on high-profile data centre and mission-critical projects, as part of a growing APAC team with genuine international exposure, strong development opportunities and a competitive package to match.
Model production is delivered by our Global Design Hub, so you will focus on coordination, information management, compliance and the formal acceptance of digital deliverables.
Governance and standards
You will apply our BIM standards, protocols and workflows at project level, aligning delivery with overall project objectives in collaboration with project leadership. You will hold the authority to challenge or reject non-compliant information, ensuring delivery meets ISO ***** and relevant building services standards, including BSRIA BG6 where applicable.
Planning and information management
You will develop and manage the Project BIM Execution Plan, ensuring alignment with client Exchange Information Requirements. You will manage the Master Information Delivery Plan, review Task Information Delivery Plans, and coordinate BIM resourcing between the Front Office and Global Design Hub.
Collaboration and stakeholder engagement




You will act as the primary BIM interface with clients and external stakeholders, leading and chairing BIM coordination meetings and model reviews. You will facilitate collaboration across design disciplines and consultants, establishing explicit communication and governance protocols to support project milestones.
Technology and CDE management
You will apply regional standards for Autodesk Construction Cloud and Common Data Environment configuration, ensuring information is issued, reviewed and approved accurately. You will promote consistent use of BIM platforms across project teams and encourage knowledge sharing between teams.
Quality assurance and continuous improvement
You will formally accept or reject information deliveries on behalf of the Appointed Party, reviewing models and outputs before external issue. You will implement project-level quality control procedures, support construction-phase information delivery and asset data handover, and capture lessons learned to improve BIM processes.
Extensive experience in MEP BIM delivery across large-scale design and construction projects.
Proven application of ISO ***** on live projects, ideally as Lead Appointed Party or equivalent.
Strong understanding of BIM documentation and information management, including BEPs, MIDPs and TIDPs.




Advanced user of Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Practical knowledge of COBie and asset information delivery requirements.
Solid technical background in building services engineering, with the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Proven experience leading BIM teams and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
Strong understanding of project delivery processes, resourcing and digital coordination.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage clients and stakeholders directly.
