Embrace possibilities and be open to new ideas and creating bold solutions.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including large and complex strategic tenders.You will provide strategic procurement advice, lead cross-functional teams and work with stakeholders across the City to deliver value for money outcomes and support the City's procurement objectives.In this role you will:lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including large and complex strategic tendersundertake benchmarking research and provide market informationlead cross-functional teams in the development of sourcing strategies and documentation that drives value for moneyprovide advice and assistance in the development of RFx documentation to optimise competitive market tensionprovide advice to panel members on appropriate decision-making processes and the validity and conformance of proposalscoordinate negotiations with suppliers to deliver best value for money outcomes for the Citymanage non-compliance with panel probity provisions and processesprovide commercial support and advice to the business on supplier and contractual issuessupport and build sourcing capability across the team and organisation,
