The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator (DPU) is to:Deliver high-quality clinical and theoretical education programs tailored to the learning needs of Day Procedure Unit staff.Support the ongoing professional development of nursing staff through mentoring, coaching and clinical supervision.Facilitate and coordinate education sessions, protected learning time, in-services and mandatory training activities.Provide clinical support and guidance to recent employees, graduate nurses, nursing students and postgraduate nurses within the clinical environment.Collaborate with Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Educators and education teams to identify workforce learning needs and develop education initiatives.Contribute to curriculum development, continuous improvement initiatives and learning programs that support safe, contemporary perioperative and day procedure practice.About youIdeal candidates for this role will have:Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.Relevant postgraduate qualification in a specialty area, or currently working towards completion.Recent acute clinical experience within a surgical,
