About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly organised and motivated Project Coordinator to join the Cyber Security team.
In this role, you will support the successful delivery of cyber security uplift initiatives by coordinating project activities, managing schedules, facilitating communication between stakeholders, assisting with vendor management, finance and procurement activities.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive project outcomes that strengthen Griffith's cyber security capability and support the successful delivery of the Cyber Security Improvement Program.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives on organisation, and wants to contribute to cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning, coordination and delivery of cyber security uplift projects within cross-functional delivery and technical teamsSupport the Program Manager, Project Managers and delivery teams with scheduling, reporting, governance, financial tracking and stakeholder follow-upDevelop and maintain project schedules, status reports, risk registers, action registers and project documentationRaise and track purchase orders, invoices, procurement approvals and expenditure against project budgetsMaintain accurate project, procurement, contract and governance recordsTrack contract deliverables, expenditure and supplier performanceFacilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, finance and procurement leads, and external partnersTrack project progress against timelines, budgets, deliverables and dependenciesIdentify and elevate project risks, issues,
dependencies and blockers where requiredMaintain project management tools such as Jira or similar platforms, ensuring information is accurate and up to dateSupport change management, communications and user adoption activities as requiredAbout youEssential2+ years' experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar project support roleExperience supporting project leads and/or delivery teams, ideally across digital, ICT or technology projectsExperience supporting procurement, invoicing and financial administration processes, including purchase orders, approvals and expenditure trackingStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilitiesAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and TeamsDesirableProject management certification or training, such as PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile Fundamentals, Scrum or PMPExperience using project management tools such as Jira or similar platformsInterest or experience in cyber securityExperience coordinating vendor engagements, contracts, statements of work or procurement documentationExperience preparing project reports, dashboards and executive-level updatesUnderstanding or awareness of the Essential Eight cyber security frameworkWhat we can offerThis is a full time,
fixed term opportunity until December **** based at the Brisbane South (Nathan) Campus.
As Griffith is a multi-site university, you may be required to work across other locations.Griffith University's sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.SalaryHEW Level 7 - Base range - $104,504 - $113,219 + 17% superannuation.
