About the role
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day packing operations and providing clear direction to a team of operators. You will ensure production schedules, operating instructions, and shift tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and regulatory standards.
Roster:
rotating 12-hour shifts across a 24/7 operation
Location:
Northern suburbs, Brisbane
Key responsibilities
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and site quality standards
Supervise automated packing lines to achieve throughput, efficiency, and OEE targets




Optimise labour allocation and support effective shift handovers
Work closely with maintenance on fault-finding and troubleshooting
Coach, develop, and manage performance of packing operators
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the following:
Leadership within a process manufacturing or automated packing environment
FMCG, food manufacturing, or packaging operations (highly regarded)
Mechanical aptitude with exposure to automation, sensors, PLCs, or fault-finding
Working collaboratively with maintenance, QA, and logistics teams
Continuous improvement frameworks such as LEAN, TPM, or 5S
Strong communication, judgement, and people leadership capability
Comfortable with rotating shift pattern
