Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll develop maintenance strategies, investigate equipment failures and deliver practical improvements that enhance plant availability and long-term asset performance. You'll also provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams and contribute to projects addressing reliability and safety concerns.
This is an individual contributor role, with relocation assistance within Australia potentially available for the successful candidate. As this position is based in Australia, applicants will require working rights that permit ongoing full-time employment.
What you will be doing
Develop and improve preventive maintenance plans and asset management strategies for electrical plant equipment;

Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams during planned and reactive work;
Analyse equipment history and operational data to improve availability, reliability and maintenance performance;
Recommend repair methods, materials, tools and critical spare parts for electrical assets;
Deliver improvement projects that address reliability,
maintenance and safety concerns;
Work with cross-functional teams to improve plant safety, cost effectiveness, operability and maintainability.
What you will bring
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering qualification;
Around five years of relevant electrical engineering or reliability experience, ideally within chemical, petrochemical or a similar manufacturing environment;
Experience with low-voltage power distribution systems, switchboards, motors and uninterruptible power supplies;
Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills;
Experience with high-voltage distribution systems and hazardous-area equipment would be advantageous.
What we offer
As part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture. We foster relationships and learning through connected global and local teams, promote flexible and diverse career paths and support the development of your knowledge and skills.
