Carey Baptist College is seeking a passionate, highly skilled, and adaptable Christian Primary Physical Education Teacher to join our team commencing in January ****.This is a part-time, 0.6 FTE position.
n
With knowledge of contemporary co-curricular practices, the Physical Education teacher will inspire a safe, engaging and challenging atmosphere, whilst promoting the College's vision, policies and procedures.
n Key Responsibilities
n
Teaching, assessment and reporting of the Western Australian Physical Education Curriculum for students in Years 1-6.
n
Developing, managing, evaluating and revising School sporting programs.
n
Planning and coordinating all facets of intra-school House competitions and events, including Swimming,



Athletics and Cross Country carnivals.
n
Managing all facets of inter-school competition for Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country.
n
Planning, organising and managing Swimming Lessons as part of the Physical Education program.

About You

Experience in managing Physical Education programs
n
Expert knowledge of sporting programs – intra-school and inter-school
n
Ability to motivate staff and students to influence the direction of sporting programs
n
Ability to operate as a Team leader in a supportive, team-oriented and inclusive manner.
