About the Role:
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our new store. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless and pleasant shopping experience. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same, requiring a strong team player who can stay calm and efficient during peak periods.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service & Checkout: Warmly greet customers, scan items accurately, and process transactions efficiently at the cash registers.

- Lotto & Ticketing: Manage SA Lotteries transactions and ensure all shelf ticketing and pricing are accurate and up to date.

- Store Presentation: Keep your checkout area clean, tidy, and organised.

- Merchandising:



Face up shelves as necessary to ensure the store always looks fully stocked and inviting.

- Food Management: Keep the pie warmer regularly filled, rotated, and presented beautifully for our hungry locals.

- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with fellow team members to keep the store running smoothly, especially during busy rush hours.

- A positive attitude with a genuine passion for customer service.

- Excellent communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

- Strong attention to detail (especially when managing cash, lotto, and food safety).

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and early mornings/evenings.

- Prior retail, cash handling, or SA Lotteries experience is a major plus, but full training will be provided for the right candidates!
