We are seeking experienced hospitality professionals to join our team in a busy Italian restaurant. We have three positions available: Experienced Chef – Italian Cuisine, Chef de Partie, and Experienced Pizza Chef.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Italian cuisine to a consistently high standard
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-managed workstation
- Manage and maintain your own section in a busy à la carte restaurant
- Assist with food preparation, cooking and plating
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Work well as part of a professional kitchen team
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Be available for afternoon and evening shifts
About you
- Proven experience preparing and cooking Italian cuisine
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Proven pizza-making experience (for Pizza Chef position)
- Experience working with a pizza conveyor oven is highly preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Able to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Clean, organised and able to work well under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with Italian cuisine is highly regarded
