The Short Version

I am building a founder content team, not hiring one person to be the team. Two roles are being hired at the same time. This one owns the strategy, the packaging and the numbers. The other, a Founder Content Producer, owns the camera and the timeline and reports to you. An editor joins under the producer inside the first 60 days.

You are the person who decides what the channels are about, what gets made, how it is packaged, and why the numbers moved. You will also be the first person I have ever given final cut on my own brand.

If you have personally grown a founder or creator brand past several hundred thousand followers or subscribers, keep reading. If you have not, this is not your role and I will save us both the time.

The Offer

The salary. $180,000 to $200,000 base plus super. That is the top end of the Australian market for this role, on purpose. I want the person who has other options, and I do not want money to be the reason they say no. Where you land in the range depends on your proof, not your years.

Final cut. You have the final say on titles, thumbnails, hooks, cuts and the calendar. I get one round of notes on long form before it goes live. I do not get a veto on packaging. If we disagree on a call, we run both versions and the audience decides. I am putting this in writing because every founder says "full creative control" and almost none of them mean it. The mechanism is what makes it true.

A team, not a to-do list. A Founder Content Producer reports to you from day one. An editor is budgeted and gets hired inside your first 60 days, and you choose them. Specialists for short form and long form follow once the machine is working. You are founding a department. Everything it becomes carries your fingerprints.

Direct access. You report to me. Not to marketing, not to a committee. Same room, decisions in minutes.

The raw material. I run Australia's largest eCommerce incubator firm. Real clients, real events, a sales floor, workshops, stage time, interstate and US travel. You will never be waiting for something worth making.

Who I Am and Why This Exists

I am Sasha Karabut, Founder and CEO of eCom Capital, a 55 person eCommerce coaching and consulting company on the Gold Coast. We take D2C Shopify founders and help them scale, from entry level programs through to high ticket masterminds, events and workshops.

The biggest growth lever left in this business is my own brand. I have the stories, the track record and the access. What I have not had is a world class operator sitting next to me turning that into an audience. Every month that gap exists costs compounding growth I never get back.

Where the channels are today: [current YouTube subscribers], [current Instagram followers], [one plain sentence on what has been tried and what happened]. I am telling you this up front because the first question any reliable candidate asks is "why has this not worked yet", and you deserve a straight answer before you apply.

What I Am Committing To

Founder content dies because the founder stops showing up, not because the editor was slow. So here is my side, in writing, so you can hold me to it.

- Two dedicated filming blocks a week, half a day each, that do not get cancelled. If one moves, it gets rebooked inside 48 hours.

That is on top of everything the producer captures in the normal run of the week.

- I will do the formats that work, including the ones I find uncomfortable. Talking heads, the direct to camera opinion, the story I would rather not tell. If it is true and it is useful, it is on the table.

- A gear and software budget of $[X] in the first 90 days, an editor's salary from month two, and a paid distribution budget you control.

- Twelve months before I judge the result. I will not kill this at month three because the graph is flat. Audience growth compounds and I know what the front of that curve looks like.

- Straight feedback, both directions. I will tell you what I think without dressing it up. I expect the same from you.

What You Will Actually Do

Decide what the channels are for. Positioning, pillars, the point of view. What we stand for and what we are against. My audience is eCommerce founders and the people who want to be them, and the brand is anti-guru to the bone. You turn that into a content thesis and you defend it.

Own the packaging. Titles, thumbnails, hooks, the first thirty seconds. This is the highest leverage skill in the job and I am hiring for it directly. You brief the producer on every thumbnail and you write or approve every title.

Own the numbers. Click through rate, retention, watch time, follower growth, and the loop from the data back into the next piece. You run a weekly review and the plan changes based on what the audience did, not what we hoped they would do. Post and hope is not a plan, that is a prayer.

Get inside my story. This is the actual job and the hardest part of it. You have to understand what I have done, what I believe, what my clients go through, and find the angle that makes a stranger care. Anyone can film a founder. Very few people can find the story.

Direct the producer. What to capture, what to prioritise, what a clip becomes. You set the standard and you hold it.

Build and lead the team. Editor in the first 60 days. Short form and long form specialists after the machine is proven. You hire them, you train them, you run them.

Stay close enough to the tools to have taste. You will not be editing every day. The producer does that. But you can cut a video and build a thumbnail yourself, because you cannot direct people on tools you cannot use and you cannot judge work you could not do.

Be here. In person on the Gold Coast, in the room when decisions get made, and with me at events and on the road. You do not need to be in my car every morning. That is the producer's job. You need to be close enough that nothing waits.

Output Expectations

I state these up front because vague expectations attract vague people.

- Every long form video packaged before it publishes: title, thumbnail and hook, engineered and tested.

- One long form YouTube video a week published, moving to two once the editor is in. Daily Instagram output across reels,

carousels and stories.

- A weekly scorecard on my desk: what went out, what it did, what changes.

- A quarterly plan that survives contact with the data.

- Team hired on the timeline above, and an operating system documented so the people you hire run on it.

The 12 month channel targets get set in your first 30 days, by you and me together, and written into your scorecard. I already have numbers in my head. If you think they are wrong, argue with me about them in the interview. I would rather hire someone who fights for a better target than someone who nods.

Who You Are

Proven growth, personally driven. You have grown a founder or creator brand to several hundred thousand followers or subscribers and you can show me the account, the graph, and exactly what you did. Agency work counts if you personally made the calls. Being on the team while someone else made them does not.

A packaging brain. You can look at two thumbnails and know which one wins and why. You have before and after numbers on titles you changed. You treat the first thirty seconds like the whole video depends on it, because it does.

Fluent in the numbers. Retention curves, click through rate, average view duration, what a healthy graph looks like at each stage of a channel. You make decisions from data and you can explain them in plain language.

Narrative instinct. You find the story in a Tuesday. You know why a shaky phone clip with a real moment beats a studio shot with nothing to say, and you can articulate the difference.

A leader who has done the work. You have hired and led editors or creatives before, and you still know how to do their job.

Strong opinions, thick skin. You will have final cut and full accountability at the same time. This is a fast, loud, direct environment. I give feedback straight and I want it back the same way.

Who This Is Not For

Strategists who cannot open a timeline. If your last three roles were briefing other people and reviewing decks, you will not have the credibility to lead this team.

People who were near the growth. If your proof is an account someone else grew while you managed it, you will get found out in the first month.

Anyone who needs an approval chain, a two week calendar, or a brand committee to feel safe. There is none of that here and there never will be.

Anyone who wants remote. The content is me. The strategy has to be built next to me.

How To Apply

No resume required. Send proof. This first stage takes fifteen minutes if you have the goods.

1. Links to the founder or creator brands you grew, with the numbers, and a plain paragraph on exactly what you did.

2. Three packaging decisions you personally made (a title, a thumbnail, a hook) and what they did to the numbers.

3. A two minute video shot on your phone telling me why you. Do not produce it. Just talk.

If you make the shortlist, stage two is a paid audition. I send you raw footage and the channel analytics, you send back a packaging plan for five videos and a 90 day plan inside 72 hours. I pay $1,500 for that, because I am not asking anyone to do spec work for me.

Stage three is a day with me on the Gold Coast.

Applications without the three items above will not be reviewed.
