Gas Technician LPG Cylinder, LPG tank installs & Type B Appliances

Love working with gas, solving problems and getting out on varied jobs—not just doing the same thing every day? Adelaide Gas Solutions is looking for a switched-on Gas Technician / Gas Fitter to join our growing Adelaide team.

We work in the interesting end of the gas industry: LPG systems, tanks, gas piping, commissioning, commercial work and Type B appliances. If you enjoy practical work, take pride in a tidy installation and want to build specialist skills, this could be your next move.

What you’ll be doing

No two weeks are exactly the same. You could be:

- Installing and commissioning LPG tanks, cylinders and gas systems

- Working on LPG gas lines, regulators, vapourisers and associated equipment

- Installing, servicing and fault-finding Type B gas appliances

- Carrying out pressure tests, leak checks and compliance work

- Troubleshooting gas issues and getting customers safely back up and running

- Working on domestic, commercial and industrial gas projects

- Completing the paperwork that proves the job was done properly

- Learning from experienced people who know LPG and specialised gas work

Who we’re looking for

You might already be an experienced gas fitter with LPG or Type B experience—or you may be a qualified plumber who wants more than the usual day-to-day plumbing work.

We’d love to hear from people who have:





- A current SA gas fitting licence, or are on the right pathway toward gas fitting qualifications

- LPG, commercial gas or Type B appliance experience—highly regarded, but not essential

- Plumbing experience and a genuine interest in building gas knowledge

- Good practical skills, initiative and a problem-solving mindset

- Pride in protected, quality workmanship

- A professional attitude with customers and teammates

- A current driver’s licence

- The ability to have a laugh while still taking safety seriously
