Family Lawyer – 4+ PAE

Our client is an established, personable family-law practice based at the prestigious location of Level 6, 410 Collins Street, Melbourne CBD.

We are seeking a Family Lawyer with at least 4 years’ post-admission experience (PAE) to manage matters with genuine autonomy while working directly with an experienced Accredited Specialist.

The role

You will manage your own family-law matters with experienced specialist support.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Advising on parenting and property matters

- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence

- Negotiating and resolving disputes





- Appearing in court and conducting litigation

- Managing files from instruction through to resolution

- Developing case strategy

- Providing practical, commercially sensible advice

- Building strong client relationships

About you

You will:

- Have at least 4 years’ PAE, predominantly in family law

- Be capable of running your own files

- Have strong drafting, communication and analytical skills

- Have court and advocacy experience, or a strong desire to develop it

- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail

- Take pride in client service

- Work confidently and autonomously

- Be ambitious about developing your family-law career
