About the Role

Working alongside the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation and ongoing success of the venue.

You’ll help lead the team, drive sales initiatives, support local marketing, coordinate events and ensure every customer leaves wanting to come back.

Success in this role comes from creating outstanding experiences while continually improving venue performance across customer service, functions, competitions, memberships and repeat visitation.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer experiences from arrival through to departure.

- Lead by example, creating a fun, energetic and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff.

- Support the Venue Manager in achieving weekly and monthly sales, operational and customer experience targets.

- Drive growth across memberships, competitions, leagues, functions and events.





- Coordinate and deliver corporate events, birthday parties, sporting club functions and private bookings.

- Build relationships with local businesses, schools, sporting clubs and community groups to generate new business opportunities.

- Assist in planning and executing local area marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

- Coach and develop team members to deliver consistent service standards and operational excellence.

- Ensure the venue is clean, safe and presented to the highest brand standards at all times.

- Support rostering, stock control, venue administration and day-to-day operational activities.

- Conduct basic troubleshooting of simulator technology and coordinate technical support when required.

- Ensure enquiries via phone, email and online channels are responded to promptly and professionally.

- Assist in coordinating team meetings, training and action plans that drive continuous improvement.

- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and venue standards.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading from the front and creating a positive team culture.

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous experience in hospitality, entertainment or customer service.

- Experience coordinating events or functions.





- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- Confidence leading and motivating a team.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.

- A commercial mindset with an interest in growing venue performance.

- Experience using POS and booking systems.

- Current RSA (or willingness to obtain one).

- Current Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain one).

- An interest in golf is highly regarded, but absolutely not essential.
