Your next career opportunity
In this Grants Officer role, youwill helpshape compelling proposals that grow cultural conservation researchand practiceboth at home andworldwide. You Will work closely with researchersand professional staff colleagues, guiding funding processes from opportunity identification to post-award management.
What you will deliver:
- Identifyand track grant opportunities,maintainingan up-to-date Institute grants calendar,andworkingwith academics to repurposeapplicationmaterials for new funding opportunities.
- Coordinate Institute research activitiesin alignment with strategic priorities and academic research strengths.
- Partner with researchers to develop compliant applications, including narratives,budgetsand supporting documentation.
- Coordinate approvals,submissionsand award acceptances, ensuring alignment withUniversityand funding body requirements.
- Provide post-award support for ARC and other grants,working closely with colleagues in Chancelry Research and Enterprise and Business Services inmanaging variations,reportingand project closure.
- Contribute to grant performance reporting and Institute communications, including donor updates and annual reports.
You may be a great fitifou:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in communications, professional writing, conservation,heritageora relateddiscipline.
- Demonstrate a strong record of successful grant writing within a research or university environment.
- Understand grant agreement management processes and compliance requirements for diverse funding schemes.
- Exercise analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex guidelines andidentifyfunding opportunities.
- Manage competing deadlines and varied workloads whilemaintaininghigh accuracy,literacyand attention to detail.
- Use advancedtechnologicalskillsacrossmultiple systems to supportgrantsadministration and reporting.
