Property and/or Corporate & Commercial Lawyer

PGC Legal is looking for a property and/or corporate and commercial lawyer to join our growing transactional and advisory practice. We are seeking a lawyer with 4–8 years' post-admission experience, with appointment at Associate, Senior Associate or Special Counsel level depending on experience, capability and depth of expertise.

Strong experience in property or corporate and commercial work, together with a genuine desire to upskill in adjacent areas and support the wider practice, is essential. You will manage matters and client relationships with autonomy appropriate to your experience, with senior support available.

At the more senior end, the role will include greater responsibility for supervising junior lawyers, developing referral relationships and helping to lead and grow the practice.

Key responsibilities

- Property: acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing and advice on property-related rights and obligations
- Commercial transactions: business and asset sales and acquisitions, due diligence, and drafting and negotiating transaction documents
- Corporate advisory: shareholder agreements, business structures, corporate governance and related advice
- Commercial advisory: drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and providing practical advice on day-to-day business issues and risk
- Manage matters and client relationships with autonomy appropriate to your experience
- Supervise junior lawyers, develop referral relationships and help lead and grow the practice (at more senior levels)

About you

- 4–8 years' post-admission experience
- Sound technical skills,



commercial judgment and the ability to give clear, practical advice
- Comfortable taking ownership of matters, managing competing priorities and recognising when to seek input
- Enjoy working collaboratively, sharing knowledge and contributing beyond your own files
- Willing to learn, help colleagues and develop the skills needed to support a growing full-service commercial practice
- Interest in building lasting client and referrer relationships
