Your opportunity

- Provide expert Psychiatric care and advice to patients attending Mental Health Services (out-patient, in-patient and hospital-in-the-home) in Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals.
- Provide professional leadership in the area of Mental Health within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Provide training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care team members.

Opportunity for Private Practice

- The successful candidate may have the opportunity to establish private practice outside of their WBHHS appointment with local private hospitals.
- The successful candidate may receive assistance and concessions with: Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathways.
- Assistance with credentialling and administrative support to commence private practice.
- Introduction to local GP's, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathways.

We are offering a competitive remuneration package value up to $564,548 p.a., including salary between $193,191 - $282,912 p.a., generous employer superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, salary sacrifice perks, and flexible rostering for optimal work/life balance.
