We are currently seeking experienced an OccupationalTherapist to provide support to our residents atBethanieFields, Dalyellup and Elanora.
This role is offered on aCasualBasis.
Renumeration: $45.64 - $62.12 per hour + Casual Loading.
The Role
- Complete therapy assessments and respond to clinicalreferrals.
- Plan and implement individual or group therapeuticactivities, whilst working with an interdisciplinary team tomaintain an effective referral system and coordinate therapyimplementation.
- Direct and coordinate Therapy Assistants.
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and informationsystems.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary program of continuousimprovement.
- Incorporate aged care quality standards into allservices.
- Synthesise information, through observation and writtendocumentation, to provide recommendations that are relationshipcentred and informed by evidence based best practice.
- Undertake a range of assessments that help to understandthe holistic experience of the person.

About You
- Current full, unrestricted registration with the AustralianHealth Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as anOccupational Therapist.
- Relevant experience in an aged care environment orsupporting people living with dementia is an advantage.
- Be relatable and able to share knowledge in a way thatsupports change at all levels.
- High level of negotiation, communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to manage a complex workload and adapt to fastchanging priorities and environments.
- Demonstrates effective communication, strong verbal andwritten skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
