We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and capable Maintenance Officer to join our team to support and maintain our Mt Gravatt facility.

Key responsibilities

- Perform various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects
- Manage projects within set time frames with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate solid interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to respectfully interact with residents, families, colleagues, and contractors
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Exhibit problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

About you

- Competence in performing various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects
- Previous hands-on experience in handyman, commercial maintenance, building, or construction industries
- Skills in carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering, labouring, property maintenance,



or handyman tasks
- Experience in facility maintenance
- Possession of a White Card is advantageous
- Successful completion of a Police Check is required
- A satisfactory Police Clearance Certificate is required as per the Aged Care Act 1997
