About the Role
We're looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our Melbourne Southeast team, supporting participants across the Southeast and Outer Southeast, including areas across Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Knox and Maroondah.
This is a mobile, community-based role, working with participants across their homes, schools, community and via telehealth. We'll look to build your caseload around your location wherever possible, helping keep travel practical and giving you autonomy over your working week.
You'll join a small but highly experienced multidisciplinary team across Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Behaviour Support. Many of the team have worked together for 3+ years and have built strong clinical relationships, particularly when collaborating around shared clients.
Our current team has strong paediatric experience, and we'd particularly love to add a Speech Pathologist comfortable working across the lifespan to broaden the team's clinical mix.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver person-centred Speech Pathology across home, school, community and telehealth settings
- Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
- Support a varied caseload, with many participants presenting with neurodivergence and disability
- Collaborate closely with OT,
Psychology and Behaviour Support colleagues
- Work autonomously while staying connected with your team through regular MDT discussions
- Participate in supervision, peer collaboration and shadowing opportunities
Why Join This Team?
- Flexible mobile working with autonomy to manage your day
- Localised caseloads across Melbourne's South East and Outer South East
- Work alongside an experienced paediatric Speech Pathologist with 15+ years' experience
- A knowledgeable, experienced and client-focused multidisciplinary team
- Strong MDT collaboration around shared participants
- Monthly face-to-face team meetings, usually around Narre Warren, plus virtual connection
- Regular supervision and opportunities to shadow experienced clinicians
- Achievable KPIs supporting sustainable workloads and work-life balance
- A team that enjoys connecting when it matters, while respecting your independence and life outside of work
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership, with CPSP preferred or in progress
- A neuroaffirming, person-centred approach to practice
- Confidence working autonomously while collaborating with colleagues when needed
- Interest or experience working across the lifespan is highly regarded
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle – this is a mobile community role
If you're a Speech Pathologist who values autonomy, flexibility and experienced clinicians to collaborate with when you need them, we'd love to hear from you.
