Role description
n
Heathcote Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team, delivering high-quality care across Acute, Urgent Care, and the Residential Aged Care Unit as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. This role reports to the Residential Aged Care Nurse Unit Manager (RACNUM) and plays a key part in ensuring safe, person-centred care and strong clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide leadership, support, and direction to ensure optimal standards of patient, resident, and client care.
n
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver clinical care on a shift-by-shift basis across Acute and Residential Aged Care settings.
n
- Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and maintained in accordance with organisational policy.
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
n
- Support the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and After-Hours Manager in daily operations and staff management matters.
n
- Contribute to the development and review of policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
n
- Assist in achieving departmental goals aligned with the Health Service Strategic and Business Plans.
n
- Uphold and promote Heathcote Health's Mission, Vision, and Values.
n
- Deliver care in accordance with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board standards and professional codes of conduct.
n
- Undertake delegated portfolio and administrative responsibilities.
n

About you
n
n
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
n
- Post graduate qualification where a specialty area requires this to fulfil the full duties of the position.
n
- Advanced assessment, care planning, care delivery and evaluation skills.
n
- Experience or willingness to gain experience in frontline management
n
n
