About the Role

n

As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and commissioning specialised air-conditioning equipment across Brisbane. You'll work across service call-outs, preventative maintenance and project installations, while also supporting customers through training on the functionality and operation of the equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Attend service call-outs and repair faults
n
- Carry out preventative maintenance works
n
- Inspect project installations prior to commissioning
n
- Commission air-conditioning equipment
n
- Provide training on the functionality and operation of equipment
n
- Ensure service calls, preventative maintenance and repair work are completed to the highest possible standard
n
- Ensure sites are left clean and tidy following service, maintenance and repair work
n
- Perform maintenance in accordance with operating and maintenance manuals
n
- Ensure air-conditioning units are optimally commissioned and meet tender specifications
n
- Ensure pre-commissioning check-sheets are fully completed prior to commissioning
n
- Ensure project installations are completed efficiently and within the required timeframe and budget
n
- Complete and process service and preventative maintenance reports promptly
n




- Assist in maintaining sufficient spare parts stock levels
n
- Communicate regularly with office staff to coordinate work
n

What You Bring

n

n
- Certificate III – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
n
- Refrigerant Handling Licence / Refrigerant Licence (ARC Tick)
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Minimum 5 years' industry experience
n
- Experience with the commissioning of computer room air-conditioning units
n
- Restricted Electrical Licence
n
- White Card
n
- Working at Heights
n
- Clear Police Check
n
- Contractor / Supervisor Licence — desirable
n
- Professional manner and presentation
n
- Exceptional customer service skills
n
- Robust organisational and time management skills, with the ability to accurately prioritise work
n
- Ability to work successfully both within a team and autonomously
n
- Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Teams, Word and Outlook
n
