Principal Consultant - DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering

n

Are you a skilled Systems Administrator with deep experience across both Wintel and Linux environments? We're working with a leading Australian banking institution on a critical uplift program aligned to the Essential Eight cybersecurity framework. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Support and uplift core infrastructure across Wintel and Linux platforms

n

Contribute to remediation efforts aligned to Essential Eight security controls

n

Assist with patching, hardening, and configuration management across systems

n

Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues in a hybrid environment

n

Collaborate with security, network, and cloud teams on cross-functional initiatives

n

Key Requirements:

n

Strong experience administering Windows Server (Wintel) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) systems

n

Proven experience in large, complex enterprise environments (ideally financial services)

n

Solid scripting and automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)

n

Familiarity with vulnerability remediation and hardening standards

n

Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in production support

n

Highly Desirable:

n

Experience or exposure to Airlock/WAF solutions

n





Understanding of security frameworks, particularly the Essential Eight

n
