About the Program

n

Phendit's In-Home and Community Support Program delivers flexible disability supports across Sydney, helping participants achieve their personal goals while maintaining independence and community connection.

n

Our services include personal care, domestic assistance, community access, transport support, capacity building, social participation, respite, and daily living support — tailored to each participant's unique needs.

n

About the Role

n

We are currently seeking a Therapeutic Disability Support Workers to support participants primarily within South-Western Sydney, while also servicing participants across the broader Sydney metropolitan area.

n

As a Phendit Support Worker, you will provide individualised in-home and community-based supports, including:

n

Personal care and daily living assistance

n

Community access and social participation

n

Capacity building and skill development

n

Meal preparation and household tasks

n

Transport to appointments and activities

n

Medication prompts (where applicable)

n





Behavioural and emotional support

n

Progress reporting and documentation

n

You will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, safety, and improved quality of life for our participants.

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate professionalism, empathy, reliability, and robust communication skills.

n

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, AIN, or equivalent

n

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

n

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

n

Working With Children Check (if applicable)

n

Previous experience supporting people with disability (preferred)

n

Ability to provide personal care and manual handling support

n

Strong observation and reporting skills

n

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

n

Understanding of WHS and risk management in home and community settings

n

Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle and current NSW Driver's Licence

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n
