Hydrapower Australia
Brisbane
Hydrapower Australia has been designing and manufacturing hydraulic earthmoving attachments in Brendale since 1981 — road profilers, stabilisers, trenchers, flail mowers, post hole borers, slashers, brooms and more, direct from our workshop to customers across Australia and overseas.
We're a small team with long-serving staff and a genuine family feel. We back the right people, teach what needs teaching, and look after those who look after us.
We've built a strong reputation by doing what we say we'll do, looking after our customers and building quality equipment that lasts.

THE ROLE
This is a newly created role sitting at the heart of our operation.
As our Operations Manager, you'll be the person helping tie everything together across the workshop, engineering, purchasing and administration functions.
You'll work closely with our leading hands, engineer and office team to make sure jobs move through the business efficiently, customers are looked after and production runs smoothly.
No two days are exactly the same. One minute you might be helping prioritise fabrication jobs, the next you're coordinating purchasing, solving a production bottleneck or working with the team to improve workflow.
The purpose of the role is simple:
Help us run and grow the business while building the next chapter of Hydrapower.
We're not hiring a resume.
We're hiring a person.
Character, attitude and practical leadership matter more to us than fancy titles.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Coordinating day-to-day workshop operations
Managing production schedules and priorities
Working with fabrication, machining, assembly and paint teams
Supporting purchasing and inventory management
Coordinating with engineering to keep jobs moving
Monitoring workflow, capacity and delivery commitments
Leading and supporting staff across the business
Running planning and production meetings
Working with suppliers and subcontractors
Identifying bottlenecks and helping improve efficiency
Maintaining a safe, organised and productive workplace
Being a key point of communication between the workshop and office
