United Petroleum is one of Australia's largest independent fuel and convenience retailers, with a national footprint spanning retail, terminals, logistics, wholesale and corporate operations.

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our People & Culture team on a 12-month contract.

This role offers the opportunity to partner with leaders across the business and manage recruitment for a diverse range of positions. From operational and frontline roles through to specialist, technical and leadership appointments, no two days will be the same.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple business functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing through to offer and onboarding
- Developing strong relationships with hiring managers and acting as a trusted recruitment advisor
- Advertising vacancies and implementing effective sourcing strategies
- Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates
- Managing recruitment campaigns across a variety of role types and levels
- Building talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs
- Providing market insights and recruitment recommendations to stakeholders




- Delivering a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Maintaining recruitment systems, records and reporting

About You

You are an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of recruiting across a broad range of disciplines.

You will bring:

- Previous experience in agency, internal recruitment or a combination of both
- Demonstrated success managing multiple vacancies across diverse business functions
- Strong sourcing and talent attraction capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- The ability to quickly understand different roles, industries and business requirements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interviewing skills
