We're looking for an exceptional content leader to shape the future of our News, Factual and Finance podcast portfolio.This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Australia's most ambitious podcast teams.

About the rolen

As Head of News & Factual Podcasts, you'll lead the strategy, development and growth of LiSTNR's News, Factual, Crime and Finance podcast portfolio.

Working at the intersection of audio, journalism and storytelling, you'll partner closely with Seven News and talent across the broader Seven Media Group ecosystem to develop premium podcast content that drives audience growth, engagement and commercial success. You'll also lead and develop a high-performing team, helping shape the future of factual storytelling for Australia's leading audio network.

You’ll

- Lead the strategy and execution of LiSTNR's News, Factual and Finance podcast portfolio.
n
- Identify and develop opportunities with Seven News and Seven Media Group to create compelling, multi-platform content.
n
- Develop, commission and grow premium podcast concepts, talent and partnerships that drive audience and revenue growth.
n
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of producers, journalists and content leaders.
n
- Oversee budgets audience and revenue growth across the portfolio
n
- Help drive strategic evolution of video podcasts
n

What You’ll Needn

You're a proven podcast, audio or content leader with a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of the evolving audio landscape.

You'll bring:

- 5+ years' experience producing News, Factual and Finance podcasts and audio content.
n
- Proven leadership experience managing creative teams, talent and complex content projects.
n
- Strong understanding of podcast audience growth,



content monetisation and the Australian and global podcast landscape.
n
- Advanced audio storytelling, editing and production skills
n
- Robust stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
n
- Experience developing talent, content partnerships and multi-platform content strategies across podcast, broadcast and digital channels.
