Dial-An-Angel Perth is seeking a Childcare Supervisor to join our caring crèche team located in the Perth Central Business District (CBD) on a fixed-term contract, making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

About the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, positive, and well-run crèche environment while supporting children’s wellbeing, development, and daily care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and care for children in a safe, engaging and supportive environment
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that support learning & development
- Assist with toileting and nappy changing as required
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness, including sanitising toys and play areas
- Monitor behaviour and encourage positive social interactions
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s care
- Follow all relevant health, safety, and childcare guidelines
- Provide guidance and support to childcare staff as required





Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior role within a childcare or similar care environment
- Current WA Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Police Clearance (assessed in line with role requirements for the duration of the fixed-term contract)
- Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR
- COVID-19 vaccination, where required by client sites or public health directions during the fixed-term engagement
- Sound understanding of child development and behaviour management
- Warm, patient, reliable, and professional approach
- Relevant childcare qualifications will be considered favourably for this fixed-term role.
