Job Description
About the Senior Occupational Therapist role
Make a meaningful impact as a Senior Occupational Therapist, delivering evidence-based care in home and community settings. Use your clinical expertise and leadership skills to support independence, safety and wellbeing while helping shape high-quality OT services.
Reporting to the Occupational Therapy Coordinator, this is a ongoing part-timerole (0.5 FTE). Offices located in the Northern Suburbs.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
- Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services.
- Partner with clients to set goals, build capacity and support wellbeing.
- Lead clinical practice, service improvement and quality initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapists, AHAs and students.
- Evaluate service outcomes, identify improvements and raise service issues.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Registered Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Eligible for membership of the Occupational Therapy Association of Australia
- Hold and maintain current Australian driver's licence
- Provider registration with State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP) (desired)
