About the Facility

Roshana Bolton Point Aged Care is a 56 beds welcoming residential aged care home offering high-quality care in a safe, supportive and community-focused environment. The home provides comfortable accommodation, modern communal spaces, landscaped outdoor areas and person-centred care designed to support residents’ wellbeing, dignity and independence.

We are looking for Cook/Chef to join our aged care team at Roshana Bolton Point Aged Care, in aPart Timecapacity.

About the Role

As a Cook / Chef, you will be a valued part of our residents’ daily lives—creating meals they look forward to and moments that bring comfort, connection, and enjoyment. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who enjoys being active, organised, and making a meaningful impact.

What You Will Be Doing

- Prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences
- Deliver meals with care and presentation that enhances the dining experience
- Cater for special diets, allergies, and texture-modified meals
- Support residents’ enjoyment of food by engaging positively during meal service
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness




- Assist with menu planning to ensure variety, balance, and resident satisfaction
- Manage kitchen operations including stock control, storage, and organisation
- Work collaboratively with the care team to support residents’ wellbeing

What You Will Bring

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Experience as a cook or chef, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or hospitality
- Knowledge of nutrition, special diets, and food safety standards
- A genuine passion for preparing meals that make a difference in people’s lives
- Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, reliable attitude and ability to work well within a team
- A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
- Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
