About the Role

The Registered Midwife in the Delivery Ward is responsible for the provision of woman centred; evidence- based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Midwife will assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

- A current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- An understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Effective interpersonal skills,



excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
