The opportunity

We're looking for friendly, customer-focused casual Senior Customer Service Officer who enjoys connecting with others and thrive in a busy environment at Mandurah Aquatic Recreation Centre.

In this role, you'll assist customers with enquiries, feedback and requests, and play an important role in promoting our programs and services, helping to increase participation and engagement, while providing efficient and accurate administrative support.

To be successful, you will have a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the capacity to manage a variety of administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. No two days are the same, so you will be a flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting and committed to creating positive experiences for our community

This is a casual position, applicants must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends between 5:00am and 10:30pm, availability must be clearly stated in your cover letter.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Cash handling, numeracy and literacy skills including banking procedures
- Operate point of sale systems and databases
- Ability to contribute to and work as part of a team
- Knowledge and understanding of reception duties
- A current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

This Casual Level 3 position is paid at a rate of $45.87 per hour (inclusive of a 20% casual loading). Additional rates apply for all ordinary hours worked on a Saturday (25%) and Sunday (50%).
