Population Health Nurse (RN2-8/CNS2), PFT - Sydney Metro
Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network
As a Population Health Nurse, you’ll provide sexual health, blood-borne virus and hepatology care to patients in NSW correctional centres.
It’s a varied role combining clinical care, patient education, prevention, and follow-up, with opportunities to work closely with a supportive specialist team.
We’re looking for a nurse with strong clinical skills, good judgement, an interest in population health and a commitment to providing respectful, patient-centred care.
You don’t need to come to the role with experience in every area. We’ll support you with training and opportunities to build your knowledge and confidence in sexual health, hepatitis and blood-borne virus care.
If you enjoy working as part of a team, are open to learning and are looking for a nursing role that’s a little different, we’d like to hear from you.
Salary & Advantages
Your salary plus super and leave loading is just the beginning. You’ll also have access to:
- Additional allowances may apply
- Free on-site parking to minimise your commute time.
- Access to salary packaging benefits.
- Fitness passport (if you’re eligible)
- Fantastic training & education opportunities available
Please note that this is a vaccination category A position, if successful you will need to provide proof of vaccination for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and influenza.
