About the role

CMI Hinois seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team.

Reporting to theFinancial Controller, thisfull-timerole provides accounting and administrative support to the finance team and Department Managers, ensuringaccuratefinancial reporting and the delivery of key management information to support business performance.

Whatyou’ll bedoing?

- Assistingwith the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Preparing reconciliations and analysing financial data
- Processing sales files and supporting debtor management activities
- Providing accounting support to operational departments
- Assistingwith process improvement initiatives across the finance function
- Supporting payroll and other finance-related duties asrequired

We are seeking someone who has

- An Accounting Degree (CPA accreditation preferred) or be working towards completion
- Strong communicationand organisational skills
- Sound computer skills and attention to detail
- Good commercial acumen and administrative capability
- A professional and collaborative approach
- Previousadministrative or accounting experience, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry
