DeliveryManager – Data Engineering Programs

RoleSummary

We areseeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the successful deliveryof large-scale Data Engineering programs. The role requires ownership ofend-to-end delivery, including planning, execution, governance, stakeholderengagement, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong backgroundin cloud data platforms, data warehousing, data engineering practices, andprogramme delivery management.

TheDelivery Manager will act as the primary interface between businessstakeholders, clients, architecture teams, and engineering teams to ensurehigh-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of strategic data initiatives.

KeyResponsibilities

DeliveryLeadership

- Ownend-to-end delivery of Data Engineering programs, ensuring alignment withbusiness objectives and client expectations.

- Establishprogramme governance, delivery frameworks, reporting cadence, and riskmanagement processes.

- Managescope, schedule, budget, quality,



and resource planning across multipleconcurrent initiatives.

- Ensuresuccessful delivery of data engineering initiatives.

- DriveAgile, Scrum, and DevOps delivery practices across distributed teams.

Client& Stakeholder Management

- Serveas the primary point of contact for business and technology stakeholders.

- Buildtrusted relationships with client leadership and internal executives.

- Facilitateprogramme reviews, and executive reporting.

DataEngineering & Technology Oversight

- Providedelivery oversight for enterprise data platforms built on Azure, MicrosoftFabric, Synapse.

- Ensureengineering teams adhere to architecture standards, security requirements,and best practices.

- Overseeimplementation of:

- DataWarehousing and Lakehouse solutions

- Dataquality and governance frameworks

- AIinitiatives

- Partnerwith architects to drive scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

- Managecontract commitments, resource utilization, and delivery KPIs.

- Identifyopportunities for account growth, service expansion, and valuerealization.

Risk& Quality Management

- Establishdelivery assurance practices.

- Proactivelyidentify programme risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

- Ensurecompliance with governance, security, regulatory,



and audit requirements.

- Drivecontinuous improvement across delivery processes and operational metrics.

PeopleLeadership

- Build,mentor, and lead high-performing Data Engineering teams.

- Supporthiring, onboarding, workforce planning, performance management, and careerdevelopment.

- Fostera culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuouslearning.

RequiredQualifications

- 12+years of IT experience with at least 5+ years managing large DataEngineering or Analytics programs.

- Strongunderstanding of contemporary data architectures and cloud-native platforms.

- Experiencemanaging geographically distributed delivery teams.
