An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Mental Health - Crisis Stabilisation Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver high level clinical services in accordance with professional code of ethics
n
- Provide efficient and responsive mental health assessment and management within the Crisis Stabilisation Unit
n
- Deliver a high level of assessment, treatment planning and case management for high risk patients
n
- Provide high level expertise of comprehensive and flexible mental health service
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position you will require:
n
n
- A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
n
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
n
- A Masters or higher qualification within a relevant area is highly desirable
n
- Driver Licence
n
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $70.92- $77.00 per hour
n
- Salary Permanent part time (64 hrs per fortnight)
