Airgene is part of the Exact Air group of companies. We specialise in duct cleaning, kitchen exhaust, laundry, toilet, and production exhaust cleaning, as well as routine maintenance and installation of building services.

Due to business growth, we're looking for an Airgene Team Leader (Commercial Kitchen Exhaust/HVAC Cleaning Services) to join our team in Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis. Regional travel is required as part of the role. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining team leadership with on-the-tools technical work when required.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Airgene Service Technicians and ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client contract requirements.

A background in commercial or kitchen exhaust cleaning will be highly regarded.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead, support, and allocate work to Airgene technicians in a safe and efficient manner

Remain hands-on, providing on-site technical support and stepping in on jobs when required

Act as a technical escalation point for the team

Ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and with required documentation (reports, service dockets, etc)

Conduct workplace audits and support WHS and HSEQ compliance

Escalate and assist with customer issues to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

Identify minor quoted works and service opportunities while on site

Support training, coaching, and performance development of technicians

Promote a strong safety, customer, and people-focused team culture

What You'll Bring

Experience leading or supervising technicians, with the ability to train, mentor, and support team members

Ability to travel to regional areas when required

Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills

Customer-focused approach with the ability to handle on-site issues professionally

OHS Construction Induction (White Card) or willingness to obtain

Willingness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

Team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in small crews
