About the Role

This is a rewarding part-time chance (60.8 hrs per fortnight) based in Wodonga to join our Gambler’s Help team, where you’ll provide specialist, evidence-based counselling to individuals, families and affected others experiencing gambling-related harm.

Working collaboratively with Financial Counsellors and other health professionals, you’ll deliver person-centred support through individual, family and group counselling. You’ll help clients manage gambling-related harm, achieve positive behaviour change and access the support they need.

This role is classified under the Community Health Centre Stand Alone Services Social and Community Service Employees Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 at SACS Employee Level 4 ($46.70 – $50.25 per hour + superannuation)

Skills & Experience

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology or a relevant discipline
- Relevant professional registration or membership, where applicable
- Experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a counselling or clinical setting
- Knowledge of gambling harm,



addictive behaviours and harm reduction strategies
- A client-centred and family-informed approach to practice
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate, confidential client records
