This is a hands-on role working with stainless steel, including pickling and passivation, material preparation, cleaning and general workshop duties. As a Labourer at EDMS Australia in Townsville, you will be an integral part of our Workshop team. This is a casual position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with general workshop duties such as cleaning and maintaining work areas
n
- Supporting skilled tradespeople in various tasks
n
- Handling and moving materials as required
n
- Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision
n
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
n
n
The main tasks for this role involve:

- Performing manual labour tasks to support workshop operations
n
- Ensuring cleanliness and organisation within the work environment
n
- Following instructions from supervisors to complete assigned duties efficiently
n
- Maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
n
- Contributing to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration
n
n
Desired Skills and Experience
n
You will be a reliable and versatile worker with a strong work ethic and a willingness to get hands-on. You will hold a current White Card and manual driver's licence, and be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
