- Must be a trade qualified Fitter Machinist or Mechanic
n
- Real Hydraulic Experience - Cylinder Rebuilds, Pumps, Motors and Hose & Fittings
n
- Must have experience leading and small team in demanding workplace and prioritising to meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills - verbal written and computer.
n
- Must be extremely organised and have exceptional attention to detail.

The Role

As a Counter Sales and Workshop Supervisoryou will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to our customers.



You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers.

General Tasks

n

n
- Support in daily operation of the Hose Service Centre
n
- Conduct hose assembly, cylinder rebuilds, pump/motor procedures, and general hydraulic/fitting works
n
- Assist to customers' needs at the counter and on the phone
n

You

n

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

n

n
- Possession of a Trade Certificate as a Fitter Machinist or Mechanic is essential
n
- A strong understanding of customer service
n
- Good telephone manner
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Ability to carry out instructions
n
- A knowledge of the hydraulic/industrial industry
n
- Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices
n
- Be computer literate and have good literacy and numeracy skills
n
- Well presented and groomed
n
- Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
n
- Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and problem solve
n
- Desire to be a team player
n
- Live within a reasonable distance to the business
n
- An understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices
n
- Maintain neat and tidy dress and appearance in line with Pirtek Dress Code Policy
