Somewhere between the timetable and the term reports, most teachers lose sight of why they started. At Faith Lutheran College, we are rebuilding secondary education from the ground up, and we want teachers who see their faith and their profession as one and the same.
We are not tweaking the edges of a traditional school. We are creating engaging subjects for students as well as giving every student a full day each week to chase what they are actually passionate about. We are asking teachers to mentor the whole young person - spiritually, academically, personally - not just deliver a subject.

What you will actually be doing

You will help pioneer our shift to a 'stage, not age' model across Years 7-12, working alongside a College Executive that backs innovation with real structural change, not just a mission statement.

Teachers who are tenacious, curious, comfortable with ambiguity and ready to help build something rather than maintain something. Teachers who want a school where Christian faith is not compartmentalised into a chapel timetable slot, it is how we treat students, plan curriculum and support each other as staff.
