We are seeking a committed and compassionate Aboriginal Homeless & Fringe Dweller Support Service (AH&FDSS;) Worker to join our Social Support Unit.

The role provides immediate and responsive support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people experiencing chronic rough sleeping. Working as part of the Homelessness Program, you will provide assertive outreach, triage and practical support to assist clients to transition to safe accommodation and housing and connect with longer-term emotional, social wellbeing and clinical health services.

The successful applicant will build positive relationships with clients and service providers, advocate for clients and provide adaptable outreach support according to individual needs.
